BELUGA launched her new chaseboat MINKE

Launched in October 2017, BELUGA (opens in a new tab)’s new chaseboat MINKE (opens in a new tab) is a brand new 40ft fishing boat, exclusively dedicated to the 113.8ft superyacht in the Great Barrier Reef (opens in a new tab). The Owner’s preferred builder, Assegai custom built this express-style sports cruiser with a well-advanced seakeeper stabilization gyro, limiting sea sickness and wave motion.
With her equipment, she is perfectly designed for diving and game fishing enthusiasts.

Marlin-fishing in the Northern end of the Great Barrier Reef (opens in a new tab) is best experienced between the months of August to October.

MINKE (opens in a new tab) accommodates 1 skipper and 1 dive master. She also employs the Twindisc express joystick system which smoothly and simultaneously actuates and controls engines, transmissions, propellers and thrusters, able to hold the vessel in any fixed position, crab the boat diagonally or straight sideways and rotate it 360° on its axis.
